Our staff has been working with kids and families for over 35 years through our church, private Christian school, multiple camps, and other programs. Back in 1985, we started our first camp called Camp Covenant in Bandera, Texas on the Rhodes family ranch. After 10 amazing years of hosting camps and retreats on the ranch, the Rhodes family sold the property. From that time on, events were held on our campus in Boerne, Texas. In 2016, the Rhodes's grandchildren repurchased the ranch and camp property in Bandera, Texas; and we moved our camps and retreats back. Camp Shield and EquipGirl are both moving to the Camp Covenant campus.  The camp has a jr olympic swimming pool, rock climbing wall, basketball court, sand volleyball court, baseball field, soccer field, GaGa ball pits, game rooms, and so much more. We are building a lake for water sports and activities and putting in a paintball field and video gaming room.

Camp Shield is famous for our amazing paintball games. We will be continuing in that tradition and even adding new adventures and games to our program. Stay tuned!
